Who we are

Welcome to The Crafty Girls!

Hi there! I’m so glad you wandered into our corner of the internet.

The Crafty Girls started from a simple love for creating—whether that’s the click-clack of a sewing machine or the soothing ritual of a warm cup of tea. This space is a reflection of my life as a maker and a mother, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.

More Than Just Stitches

While my heart beats for quilt patterns and sewing inspiration (and maybe a good murder mystery quilt along the way!), we believe that a creative life is a balanced one. That’s why you’ll also find a touch of tea for health here. My daughter is a talented herbalist, and together, we offer hand-blended herbs and natural remedies to keep your spirit as nourished as your creativity.

Supporting the Craft

To keep this site running and to allow me the time to design new patterns and film science-inspired shows, I participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This means that when I recommend my favorite sewing notions or herb-gathering tools, I may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Every time you use one of those links or buy a pattern directly from our shop, you are quite literally “keeping the lights on” in my studio. It allows me to keep dreaming up new designs and sharing free content with this wonderful community.

A Sincere Thank You

I want to say a heartfelt thank you for being here. Whether you are here to find your next big project or a calming herbal blend, your support means the world to me and my family.

To our customers: You clearly have impeccable taste! It takes a special kind of person to appreciate the art of a handmade life, and I am so honored that you chose to bring a piece of “The Crafty Girls” into your home. You’re not just a customer; you’re a patron of the arts, and you make what I do possible.

Stay crafty, stay healthy, and thank you for being wonderful!
